Chery A. Zacarías Verdeja has 20 years of continuous professional practice and has been part of Mazara Abogados since 2020, where she currently heads Corporate Law and the Blindaje Unit.
Her practice focuses on corporate and business law, telecommunications, investment structuring and domestic and international commercial arbitration. She has advised commercial companies, investors and business groups on highly complex transactions, corporate reorganizations, regulatory processes and the legal structuring of projects and investments.
She has particularly significant experience in telecommunications, including concessions, changes in corporate control, special registrations, concession extensions, administrative enforcement proceedings and negotiations concerning frequency allocation. Her practice also covers civil and commercial matters, compliance, real estate development, asset management and succession.

Legal assistance to foreign investors in obtaining a concession to install and operate a submarine fiber-optic cable, a project involving an investment of approximately USD 175 million.
Participation in three significant acquisitions in the Dominican telecommunications sector, with approximate values ranging from USD 44 million to USD 300 million.
Advice on administrative enforcement proceedings, changes in corporate control, concession extensions and other telecommunications regulatory processes.
Participation in negotiations involving frequency allocation under the National Frequency Allocation Plan (PNAF).
Leadership in establishing a business consortium in the Dominican LPG market.
